I am back from the dead almost and this month there should be hopefully more activity from my end. But first we start off with the Kinzu review. Arriving at my place nicely bubble wrapped and properly packed. The Kinzu was the same size I assumed it to be, a smaller mouse capable of helping me own people.

picture

Like my last review (on the Slappa bag) I’ll be grading the Kinzu on the following points and on 10.

Prior to this I have used 2 "pro-mice”, the Razer Diamondback (non-3G and during Fnatic and Razer days) and the SteelSeries Ikari Laser. I have played mostly RTS games and to be precise – Warcraft 3 & StarCraft. The Diamondback was the first pro mouse I had used and it fitted me perfectly, I never ever had a problem in RTS with it. When I switched to the Ikari Laser, I didn’t like it at all. It’s size was such a turn off but add the fact that I wasn’t used to using a mouse like it and it was extremely hard. Eventually I got semi used to it and for some reason due to the size of the mouse, my palms used to sweat a lot (I don’t have sweaty palms). I think it’s because of the strain that was on my hand since I wasn’t used to a mouse like that.

When SteelSeries announced the Kinzu, I lapped up the opportunity to try it out. The experience has been extra-ordinary. Its size is perfect for me (fitting more than perfectly). I haven’t added any glidez, also I have only used the QCK+ Fnatic Mousepad for this review. I tested it across Unreal Tournament, Warcraft 3 (Extensively) & StarCraft (to the least extent).

To gain complete control, mastery and optimization you WILL need to download the drivers from the SteelSeries website, it takes about 5minutes to set up. Unless you want to work on it a little more and tweak it in depth (I suspect a RTS user might prefer a high sense and not much in depth tweaking). You get 3 customizable profiles.

Now that the introduction is done, let’s move on to the review.

After Team Poland win the champion title, they sang (roared) the song with full of excitement!

" We finally have the gold, we'll never give it back!"  (Watch their songs in polish version  on the last VOD attached.)

In WCG 2009 Grand Final Battlefield, the best gamers in the world competed to become the best player of the world. Lots of great matches and dramas filled the venue, and people cheered and shared those exciting moments.

Among these unforgettable highlights of WCG 2009, the Counter Strike Final match was definitely a legendary match. On the last day of Grand Final, two world-clan, Fnatic and Again (A.K.A Team Poland), started their battle at the main stage. More than 10,000 spectators completely filled the venue, to watch the match of the best.

The final matches were indeed fierce. Again lead the first set at the beginning, and it seemed promising that the Polish will get the first set. But Fnatic was never easy to get over. Fnatic persistently made deuce point for the several extended matches up to 26-26 and finally Again got the first set with 28-26. The first set lasted about 90 minutes, with full of palm wetting tensions.

The Siberia v2. Simple as that - at least according to Gear Live. Writer Alex Lifschitz explains why:

"…The headset itself is very, very comfortable - I’ve been able to wear it for hours without my ears hurting, thanks in part to the plush feax-leather lining. The quality is superb, with deep bass and effective surround sound, but for me, the it’s the little things that count - such as the retractable microphone hidden in the earcups themselves. Best of all, you can have this luxury for just slightly under a benjamin on Amazon.”

If you’re more into the Siberia v2 USB, Gamerztech dropped a 10/10 rating on that headset last week - check out the review.

As you might know, MSI is a fellow partner of Fnatic - just like we are.

Now, recently MSI announced their first 3-Way SLI supportive motherboard, the MSI P55 Big Bang Trinergy, and decided to bundle it nicely together with the official, SteelSeries Limited Edition QcK+ (Fnatic) as well as a SteelSeries Kinzu Optical Mouse.

Currently the bundle is only available in Sweden via KOMPLETT.se, but rumor has it that it will soon be available in more countries. ;)

I’ll keep you posted on availability.
