Attractive but sheltered, Angie Albright (SARAH THOMPSON) is excited to
finally leave her strict religious household to attend college. While
her new roommate is wilder than she’s used to, Angie soon
discovers that there are far worse threats to worry about than a messy
dorm room. While looking for a job babysitting, Angie learns
about the recent disappearance of a female college student and the

stepped from the pages of an LL Bean catalog. With young Sam
quietly asleep upstairs, Angie quickly realizes just how creepy the old
farmhouse is at night…and just how isolated they are. And

After making frantic calls to Rick and the local Sheriff (BILL
MOSELEY), the front door begins to violently rattle and Angie finds
herself caught playing a shadowy game of cat and mouse with her
mysterious caller—a hulking brute who she now recognizes from the
college campus. The horribly scarred man begins tearing the farmhouse
apart with a terrifying fury and an animal growl. With the parents

 The orphan Mandy Lane is a beautiful, virgin and pure teenager raised

 It turns out to just be a dream and we see Casey lounging on a couch
talking to her best friend Romy (Meagan Good). Casey wants to know what
her dream means so Romy consults a dream book. Romy says that in a
dream a baby is symbolic of change and renewal and if it is a stranger
to the dreamer then it is something in the dreamer not yet ready to be
born, while the dog in mythology is often portrayed as the messenger of
the dead. Romy then asks about the kids, in which Casey says that
theyre asleep (Casey is babysitting). However, she hears sounds
upstairs above her and then through the baby radio, a child whispering
Look in the mirror, some people are doorways, so Casey tells Romy that
shes going to call her back and makes her way upstairs to check on the
kids. Casey sees Matty, about four years old and the older of the two
children, standing in front of the crib holding up a small mirror over
his little infant brother telling him to Keep looking. Casey comes
closer to tell him to stop when Matty strikes at her with the mirror
and says, Jumpy wants to be born now.

 Is it a nightmare or an actual view of a post-apocalyptic world? Set in
an industrial town in which giant machines are constantly working,
spewing smoke, and making noise that is inescapable, Henry Spencer
lives in a building that, like all the others, appears to be abandoned.
The lights flicker on and off, he has bowls of water in his dresser
drawers, and for his only diversion he watches and listens to the Lady

 Born charmer Sean Okden gave up tap-dancing when he started working in
the steel mill, but as that's going down the hill he grabs his chance
being the only candidate in his coastal Australian home town Newcastle
selected for a Sidney show. Being sacked soon just for a row with the
arrogant lead dancer, he returns to find his girlfriend in bed with his
brother Mitchell, and decides to start his own tap-dance group wearing
hardhats, which he soon gives an original edge when the steel mill
inspires him to weld metal on their shoes and dance on industrial
steel, so it the metallic acoustics fit well with a local rock group.
Financing their local debut is so expensive, even when the mill allows
them free us of its premises -opening some acrobatic perspectives-
while even his father won't allow him to touch his mother's inheritance
for the project, that the 'Bootmen' need to steal the cheerleaders'
podium in a televised sports match to get media attention. Sean
generously helps his brother when attacked, at the price of their
motorbikes, only to learn his assailant Huey and Mitch rival as car
(part) thieves, but still allows him into the group - only to see his
fatal fall during an attack by Huey's goons. Even when the mill
announces phasing out Sean continues, now as a benefit for the sacked
workers' retraining.

escalates to the point where they have to chop up his body just to fit
him into a small trunk. They then become paranoid, as they might turn
on each other.
